Your first two months at CorvusPay are behind you. What are your impressions so far and what draws you to the world of payments?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n After many years in a large corporate environment, I wanted to work in a smaller, more dynamic team where decisions can be made and implemented more quickly. Payments have always fascinated me. They are an invisible yet indispensable part of every purchase and technology continually creates opportunities for improvement. In these first two months, I have already felt a strong team spirit and a genuine drive for growth, so I am very happy to be here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n What are you actually working on?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n My role is to develop new products while also improving existing ones, especially those that end users interact with on a daily basis. I am not doing that alone, of course. Alongside my team, there are other teams working on new initiatives within our existing verticals, and we all work together to make sure everything fits together seamlessly. Whenever we are building something customer-facing, there are two things I never lose sight of: keeping the experience simple and making sure it is completely secure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Is there a universal way to make something both simple and secure?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n There isn\u2019t. Our clients come in different sizes and operate across different industries, so while the platform itself may be the same at its core, expectations and business contexts vary significantly. That is why I always try to understand what truly matters to each client and adapt where it creates broader value. We also operate within the European Union, one of the most highly regulated markets in the world, and we are dealing with something people care deeply about \u2013 their money. There is no room for mistakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When is it hardest to make a decision and what helps you in those moments?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The most difficult situations are those where priorities collide: speed versus stability, simplicity for the user versus the complexity behind it, market demands versus regulatory requirements. In those moments, listening, open feedback, and collaborative brainstorming are what help us find the right solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n How important are the people behind the system?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n They are essential. People understand both the complexity of the challenges we face and the value of simplicity. They know that technology isn not an end in itself, but a tool we use to create better and safer experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Do you ever feel like the job is done?<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n Almost never (laughs). We are always in the middle of something \u2013 a new product, an enhancement to an existing one or adapting to new requirements. Striking the right balance between user experience and security isn\u2019t something you achieve once and for all; it is an ongoing process shaped by countless decisions. Change can be frustrating at times, I will admit, but without it there is no growth.
